Recent case about the president of Kantipur Media Group, Kailash Sirohia regarding the flaw on his citizenship reveals that there is something fishy behind how did he got the citizenship.
Problems about his citizenship :
- The citizenship number of Shivji Sahu Teli, who resides in Janakpur sub-metropolitan ward number 2, and the citizenship number currently used by Kailas Prasad Sirohia are the same. Citizenship number of both is 39698886. Both are citizenships issued by District Administration Office Dhanusha.
- Even in the year 2057 when Sirohia took the copy from the district administration office in Dhanusa, the red ink signature of the officer who issued the certificate on the citizenship of Kailas Prasad Sirohia is not visible. Neither is the red ink signature of the official visible in the photograph.
- Two citizenship numbers on two documents of the same person, On the documents of Himalayan Reinsurance his has written the citizenship number – 28398886 and on his voters card his citizenship number is – 39698886

“Sirohia filed a writ of prohibition against the Ministry of Home Affairs and the District Police Office Dhanusha in the Supreme Court on Monday. In the writ, it was requested to stop it saying that it could be an illegal arrest.” Which gives us hint on how a thief takes his foot off when someone says ” cut the foot of the thief “
